Orders

Placing An Order

To place your order, select the desired item(s) and click "Add to Cart." The “Capricho Duffel Bag” icon will appear on the upper right corner of the screen and can be accessed from any page on the site. Once you have made your selection, please click "Checkout" to complete your delivery and payment details. When your order has been placed, you will receive an Order Confirmation email and as soon as the item(s) has shipped, an email with shipping and tracking information will be sent.

If you change your mind after you have placed your order, please contact us as soon as possible at shop@caprichoaspen.com. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Canceling An Order

Please contact us at shop@caprichoaspen.com as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or modify your order, and we will do our best to help you. Orders that have already been processed cannot be changed or canceled.

Creating An Account

To create an account, click “Account” in the upper right corner on any page. From there create your profile where you can save shipping and billing information and view past orders. If you forget your account password, click "Forgot Password" when signing in to reset your password.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards including Apple Pay, Shop Pay and Google Pay options. Payment is processed at the time your order is placed for in stock items. For pre-order items, payment is processed when the order is shipped.

Pre-orders

I have an item in my order that I pre-ordered. When will my item ship?

Pre-order items ship FedEx Ground by the estimated ship date or as soon as they become available. You will receive an email with shipping and tracking information. For pre-order items, payment is processed when the order is shipped.

Please note that we also offer free shipping for all orders greater than $350.

Gift Receipts & Messages

We do not provide gift cards at this time, but please contact us, and we will try to help.

We are happy to include a gift message with any purchase, simply include your message at check-out. A packing slip without any pricing information will be included in the shipment.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Methods

We ship within the United States using Federal Express and offer free FedEx Ground shipping for all orders totaling $350 or more.

The following shipping methods are available:

Standard Ground: Delivery within 3 to 7 business days.

2-Day Expedited: Delivery in 2 business days.

Overnight: For those in a rush, we are pleased to offer overnight shipping.

All orders received will be sent out the next business day. If an order is received by noon MST we are often able to process and ship your order on the same day, but cannot guarantee it.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day.
  • We cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
  • Please keep in mind, your order may encounter delays from FedEx.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number. You can also log into your Capricho account to check on your order status at any time.

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping at this time, but please email us at shop@caprichoaspen.com, and we will do our best to help you.

Returns

Return Policy

Capricho offers a 14-day return policy from the date your item is delivered. Merchandise purchased online that is unused, in the original packaging (including dust bags with tags attached) and has a return request made via our contact form can be returned within 14 days of purchase. We are unable to offer a refund on items that are deemed damaged–scratched, worn or not in their original packaging.

Please allow up to 4-7 business days for refunds to be processed once your return has been received.

Capricho reserves the right to refuse any return on merchandise that does not meet our return requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be sent back to you at your own expense and a refund will not be issued.

Returning Your Order

Contact us with the product(s) you would like to return and your order number. We will email you a prepaid FedEx label. Once received, prepare your shipment in the original box including dust bags and hang tags. Please find a FedEx drop-off location or contact FedEx directly to coordinate.

Product Care

Leather Care Tips

Capricho's travel bags are handmade from 100% natural cowhide leather and genuine calfskin suede interiors. Our leather, named Alma and meaning “the soul” in Spanish, is produced exclusively for Capricho. The small tanning facility located in Quindio, the heart of Colombia’s coffee region, selects only the most exquisite hides. Alma leather is full-grain leather, and no treatment is used to correct or mask the grain, retaining the hide’s natural surface. The beauty of Capricho’s bags is that little to no care is needed, our leather becomes softer and more supple with use and matures perfectly over time.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Capricho’s Alma leather is durable and scratch resistant. As with all leather accessories, we recommend avoiding abrasive surfaces and excessive exposure to water, heat and direct sunlight to preserve your Capricho bag. Each piece comes with a dust bag for storage between adventures, keep your Capricho in a cool, dry place and away from humidity.

Exterior:
Any minor scratches can easily be buffed. We recommend a lint-free, light-colored cloth to remove surface dirt or residue. An ultra-suede cloth would do nicely. Preserve your bag further with an all-natural leather conditioner. Test the conditioner in a hidden area with a soft, clean cloth.

Interior:
Avoid exposing the lining of your bag to elements like makeup and oils which can stain and compromise the natural beauty of your bag. Please handle it with care. Cleaning with sanitizers or chemicals is not recommended.

If the interior or exterior leather becomes wet, we recommend blotting with a gentle and absorbent microfiber cloth.
